HGV Technician – Barking
Salary: Up to £25ph + Overtime at 1.5x + Company Van
Hours: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week (Day shifts only)

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a leading fleet company based in Barking. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to secure a permanent position with a professional and well-established business offering excellent benefits, stable employment, and no weekend work.
The RoleAs an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a modern fleet of HGVs and trailers. The successful HGV Technician will play a key role in ensuring vehicles remain compliant, roadworthy, and operational at all times.

Up to £25ph depending on experience

Routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
Diagnostics and fault finding
Ensuring all vehicles meet DVSA standards
Minimising downtime across the fleet
Completing all paperwork and job records accuratelyRequirements
Qualified HGV Technician with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous workshop or fleet maintenance experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Ability to work independently and efficiently
