The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
LEAD Careers are working with a well-established Landscape Architecture studio that is looking to add another Landscape Architect with LVIA experience to its team.
This is a great opportunity for a Landscape Architect who enjoys the landscape planning side of the profession. The practice has been around for more than 40 years and works across both landscape planning and design, with a varied portfolio of projects throughout the UK.
The Role
The successful Landscape Architect will be joining an experienced team and getting involved in a good mix of landscape planning work, including:
* LVIA and LVA
* Townscape and visual assessments
* Landscape character assessment
* Site surveys and fieldwork
* Viewpoint selection and assessment
* Landscape input into EIA projects
* Landscape and visual mitigation strategies
* Planning application support
* Report writing
* Working alongside clients and wider consultant teams
About you
* A Landscape Architecture degree
* Some previous LVIA/LVA experience
* A good understanding of landscape and visual assessment
* An understanding of the UK planning system
* Good report-writing skills
* Experience with relevant software such as AutoCAD, GIS and Adobe Creative Suite
* The confidence to carry out site work and contribute to projects independently
* A full UK driving licence
