Butcher – Red Meat & Poultry

Every cut matters when customers expect consistency, quality and precision. As a Red Meat & Poultry Butcher, you'll play a vital role in preparing premium products to exact specifications while helping maintain the high standards that keep production moving efficiently.

Your responsibilities as Red Meat & Poultry Butcher

Bone, trim and prepare beef, pork, lamb and poultry to customer specifications
Portion steaks, chops and other cuts accurately to required weights
Maintain food safety, hygiene standards and clean-as-you-go working practices
Ensure batch coding, traceability and correct storage within chilled environments
Pick and fulfil customer orders accurately while minimising waste
Follow PPE requirements and safe working procedures at all times 
What we're looking for in a Red Meat & Poultry Butcher

Previous butchery, boning, trimming and portion control experience
Ability to successfully complete a practical block test
Experience working with both Halal and Non-Halal products
Good understanding of written and spoken English to follow specifications and orders
Right to work in the UK and an industry-recognised qualification is advantageous 
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday (Saturday is job and finish)
5:00am – 2:00pm
