Are you a Field Service Engineer with diesel and gas engine experience looking to join a market-leading power generation company offering specialist training, overtime opportunities and clear career progression?

Established in 80's, the business designs, builds and maintains systems including gas engines, CHP, biogas, landfill gas and large-scale batteries. In this role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and installations on gas and diesel engine systems across customer sites throughout the UK. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, undertake local and remote fault-finding, and complete repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and service schedules.
This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with diesel and gas engine experience from a power generation or industrial background, looking to join a leading energy technology business working across UK sites on low-carbon energy and battery storage projects.
The Role:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on gas and diesel engine systems across UK sites
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using local and remote fault-finding techniques
Install, service and repair engines and ancillary equipment to manufacturer standards
Liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth service deliveryThe Person:
Experience in field service engineering with gas and diesel engine systems
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
