Duties of the Role:
As a Fabricator Welder, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated and welded components, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication.
Ensure all required components are available before assembly begins.
Verify dimensions and specifications prior to fabrication.
Fabricate and weld metal components and structures.
Grind, finish and prepare completed fabrications to a high standard.
Carry out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Complete quality documentation accurately.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards.
About You:
Previous experience as a Fabricator / Welder or Metal Fabricator.
Experience working with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet (0.9mm–30mm).
Experience fabricating mild steel sections from 2mm–10mm.
The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong fabrication and metalworking skills.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
A good understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
The ability to safely handle large metal components and work in a physically active environment.
Desirable:
Overhead crane experience.
Welding qualifications or relevant certifications.
Hours:
Days / Afters (40 hrs plus overtime)

Up to £17.38 per hour / Overtime £26.07, depending on experience + overtime.
