What You'll Be Doing
As a Claims Adviser, you'll play a key role in supporting customers throughout the claims process, ensuring every claim is handled efficiently, fairly, and professionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing claims involving loss, theft, and accidental damage
Processing claims and refund requests following full training
Liaising with underwriters regarding policy and product queries
Working collaboratively with internal departments to achieve timely claim resolutions
Handling customer service and sales enquiries via phone and email
Processing customer payments, premiums, and excess charges
Managing policy cancellations and discussing retention options with customers
Recording and handling first-line complaints in line with company procedures

Essential Skills & Experience
Previous claims handling or customer service experience within a regulated environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident dealing with customers by telephone and email
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Positive, proactive approach with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
A willingness to identify improvements and contribute new ideas
Desirable Experience
Experience handling customer complaints
Knowledge of fraud identification and investigation processes
