We are recruiting for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our client in Cumbernauld. This role involves the delivery and collection of waste around Glasgow and the surrounding areas. This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position
£16.50 per hour
Average shift times are 06:30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
Requirements of a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver:
Valid LGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Digital tachograph card.
Previous experience operating tipper vehicles is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues.
Role of a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver:
Safely operate an LGV2 tipper vehicle to deliver and collect waste in Glasgow and nearby areas.
Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents.
Communicate effectively with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety standards.
