We’re looking for a General Assistant / Second Man to join a busy engineering team specialising in sheet metal, light-gauge steel and general metalwork.
💷 £16.85 per hour – PAYE Umbrella / CIS

The Role
You’ll be working alongside experienced workshop staff, supporting with:
* Operating and assisting on saws
* Building guttering
* Assisting press brake operators
* General sheet metal and workshop duties
* Loading, moving and preparing materials
* Learning and developing new engineering skills across the business
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to be a fully skilled fabricator. We’re looking for someone who is:
* Hands-on and practical
* Reliable and hardworking
* Keen to learn new skills
* Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
* Ideally familiar with Amada, LAG brake presses or similar machinery — although training can be provided for the right person
