Job Title: Estimator
Location: Near Chelmsford (Office-Based)
Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established contractor working on residential projects in the Great Baddow area.

The Role:

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the pre-construction team across a range of residential developments.

Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation

* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes

* Conducting site visits when required

* Supporting project teams throughout the pre-construction phase

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry (residential preferred)

* Valid CSCS card

* Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management

* Willingness to travel to development sites as required

* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
