Vision for Education is looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to join our SEN Teaching Assistant supply team, supporting specialist primary and secondary schools across Coventry from September 2026.
As a leading education recruitment agency, we provide staff to SEND schools on a day-to-day basis. You'll initially join our supply register, offering flexible work around your availability, with regular opportunities to move into long-term, part-time or full-time school placements.
The Role
You'll support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including:
Autism (ASC)
ADHD
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
Moderate to Profound Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD & PMLD)
Complex physical disabilities
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
Encouraging learning, communication and independence
Supporting behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Assisting with personal care where required
Working closely with teachers and other professionals
Who We're Looking For
We welcome applicants with 2+ years' experience in roles such as:
Support Worker
Care or Healthcare Assistant
Residential or Mental Health Support Worker
Autism or Learning Disability Support Worker
Youth, Family or Behaviour Support Worker
Nursery Practitioner or Teaching Assistant
Or any similar care, support or education role
You'll be compassionate, reliable, patient and passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their potential.
