Salary £65K Plus £10k Registration bonus
We are looking for a Children’s Home Manager to open an amazing new 2 bed Children’s Home for emergency placements supporting 8-18 year olds with EBD and challenging behaviours.

The owners require someone who is enthusiastic and energetic.
Quality is key. We seek a person that is consistent ,reliable and has the knowledge to run a home effectively. Someone who cares and will always find a solution.
The team including Responsible Individual and Directors will be there with full support and encourage training qualifications and progression.
Registered Manager Skills and abilities
* Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard.
* Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies.
* Ability to solve problems.
* Able to work within the principles of the Children’s Act.
* Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures.
* Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes procedures and relevant issues.
* Ability to exercise authority.
* Proven leadership and management abilities.
* Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written.
Registered Manager knowledge and experience.
* At least 1 year working experience as a Registered Manager in a Registered Children’s Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding
* A minimum of two years’ experience at senior level in a Children’s Home.
* Experience working with Children who have Mental Health, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties
* Have a very good understanding of the children’s homes regulations and quality standards, 2015
* Have good knowledge and experience working as a designated safeguarding lead in children’s residential home (s)
Registered Manager qualifications
* The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or you are willing to work towards this) Or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway) combined with a Leadership and Management Qualification
