The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Volantes Technical Recruitment are looking for a proactive and technically minded CPMS Technical Support professional to take ownership of an EV Charging Point Management System (CPMS) and wider EV charging infrastructure network.
The role focuses on charger uptime, system reliability and remote fault resolution, acting as the technical link between clients, OEM partners, the CPMS platform and field engineering teams.

Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.

Valid UK Driving Licence.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the CPMS platform and associated EV charging network.

Monitor and optimise charger performance, reliability and uptime.
*
Diagnose and resolve faults remotely using CPMS data and system information.
*
Analyse fault codes and performance data to identify root causes and recurring issues.
*
Coordinate fault resolution with planners, engineers and technical teams.
*
Act as the technical escalation point for complex system and network issues.
*
Work with OEM partners on hardware, firmware, configuration and interoperability issues.
*
Support new charger and site integrations into the CPMS environment.
*
Develop and improve technical processes, workflows and documentation.
*
Provide technical guidance to field engineers during reactive callouts.

Support team development, training and performance as the network grows
