The Opportunity
We are seeking a CNC Machinist Trainee to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, development-focused role where you will receive dedicated one-to-one training from a time-served machinist, gaining real-world experience in a professional engineering environment.
Unlike classroom-based routes, this role is built around direct mentorship, allowing you to learn practical skills on the shop floor with continuous guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the setup and operation of CNC milling and turning machines
* Learn to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
* Support the production of precision components to tight tolerances
* Carry out basic inspection and quality checks using measuring equipment
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Develop machining skills through close, one-to-one guidance
