We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established team based near Witham. This is a workshop-based role, ideal for candidates with a background in HGV or plant maintenance. Will include machine inspections & repair, welding / fabrication experience required also.

You’ll be responsible for:
Conducting inspections on lorries and plant machinery
Carrying out defect rectification and mechanical repairs
Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
Performing fabrication tasks, including welding and metalworkRequirements:
Proven experience working with HGVs, plant, or similar heavy vehicles
Fabrication/welding experience is essential
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs confidently
Team player with a strong work ethic
