Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 pa depending on experience
Hours: 39 hour working week

The role is to produce design and detailed drawings of the parts and assemblies that make up the machinery.
Mechanical Design Engineer Skills and experience required:
* Experience in designing automated equipment and engineering components
* Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment with a good understanding of materials and assembly tolerances
* Experienced and proficient in using 3D Design software, ideally Solidworks
* Ability to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings
* Be able to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customers
* Proficient in Microsoft software packages including Outlook, Word and Excel
* Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors and actuators
