How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Prepare country-specific customs documentation, including FDA Letters, Certificates of Origin and other relevant documents.
    * Maintain awareness of international trade regulations, geopolitical developments and country-specific import/export requirements, proactively identifying potential risks that may impact global shipments.
    * Monitor and track shipments daily, proactively identifying and escalating any delays or issues.
    * Create sample and order sheets, Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), packing lists and other documentation required to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
    * Coordinate with couriers, internal teams and other relevant parties to ensure shipments are dispatched and delivered efficiently.
    * Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure all relevant information is up to date.
    * Provide onsite office support, including answering incoming calls and directing messages and enquiries appropriately.
    * Carry out general administrative duties to support shipping and wider office operations.
    * Follow established processes and procedures while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and service.
    * Support the team with additional administrative and operational tasks as required.
    Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and takes ownership of their work, with a genuine interest in developing their skills and contributing to the wider team.
    Essential:
    * At least 2 years' relevant professional experience, ideally within shipping, logistics, transport, administration or a similar operational environment.
    * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
    * Confident managing multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    * Good problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues proactively.
    * A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities.
    * A willingness to learn new systems, processes and regulations.
    * A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
