The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
We are looking for an experiencedManufacturing Engineerto join a leading engineering organisation in Basildon.
You will be responsible for developing robust manufacturing processes and supporting the successful transition of new products from design into production. You will work closely with engineering, production, suppliers and customers to ensure products are delivered efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve manufacturing processes, methods and equipment.
Support new product introduction and Manufacturing Maturity Reviews.
Create and review Manufacturing Plans throughout the Product Lifecycle.
Provide manufacturing expertise to support customers and product roadmaps.
Review production schedules, labour and material costs, identifying improvements and solutions.
Produce reports using manufacturing data and trends.
Support failure investigations and structured problem-solving, including 8D.
Mentor and support junior members of the engineering team.
Ensure manufacturing activities comply with relevant regulations and company standards.
About You
Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.
Experience across multiple stages of the Product Lifecycle.
Good leadership, mentoring and change-management skills.
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
Experience of engineering peer reviews and implementing resulting actions.
Good understanding of engineering risk and reward.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
