Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Parts Department Manager to join a well‑established construction machinery business in Chesterfield. This is a key leadership role responsible for the full parts operation, including procurement, stock control, customer service, and team management.
Key Responsibilities

Procurement and supplier management to ensure parts are sourced efficiently
*
Stock control and maintaining accurate inventory levels
*
Leading and developing the parts team
*
Managing customer enquiries and building strong working relationships
*
Overseeing order processing, returns, and invoicing
*
Monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements
*
Maintaining pricing, promotions, and online parts platforms
*
Supporting business growth and identifying cost saving opportunities
What We Are Looking For
*
Minimum three years staff management experience
*
Strong background in spare parts management, ideally within construction machinery
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills
*
Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
*
Technical understanding of machinery and components
*
Experience with SAP, Salesforce, or Syncron is an advantage
