The School and the Role
Vision for Education are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary school settings in Tameside and the local surrounding area.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for leading classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. You’ll support students with their work, manage behaviour effectively, complete registers, and provide clear handover information to teaching staff.
A variety of short-term, long-term, and potential permanent opportunities are available, offering flexibility and a strong work–life balance. This role is ideal for confident classroom professionals looking for consistent work within education.

To be considered for this Cover Supervisor role, you must:
Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in secondary schools
Be confident managing classrooms and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to supporting young people’s learning and development
Be able to provide suitable references, hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS, and have the Right to Work in the UK
