As a SEN teaching assistant, you will:
Working within the nest with other senior members of staff
Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher
Support pupils with varying abilities, including those needing additional support
Help maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers and other teaching assistantsRequirements
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (ideal)
If no qualification, a minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a school is essential
Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting or SEN setting
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Commitment to supporting children’s learning and development
