Are you an experienced and skilled Electrical Wireman looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. With a focus on mechanical and electrical assembly and testing, this role offers a dynamic environment and the potential for new product development. Key Responsibilities:
Build and test distribution and MCCB panels to industry standards.
Work from technical electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
Ensure component quantity and quality before each job.
Assemble wiring loom kits using various tools.
Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and resolution.
Produce test certificates.
Work with limited supervision and initiative.
Meet customer despatch dates.
Maintain manufacturing records and ensure quality control.
Maintain a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
Support management with any additional duties as required.Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in reading and understanding technical electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Hours - The hours are 7:25 - 4:30pm Mon - Thurs and 7:30 - 1:10pm on a Friday.
Location - Braintree
This is a temporary position with the aim to move to a permanent contract after 3 months.
