The Role
As a Commercial Plumbing Engineer, you'll carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive plumbing repairs and minor installation works across a portfolio of railway stations and associated commercial properties.
Working independently, you'll ensure plumbing systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational whilst delivering a first-class service.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial plumbing systems
Diagnose and repair plumbing faults efficiently
Service and maintain hot and cold water systems
Repair and replace sanitaryware, valves, pumps and pipework
Complete minor plumbing installations and remedial works
Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs
Complete electronic job reports and maintenance records
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and industry standards
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Experience working within commercial maintenance or facilities management
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
Full UK Driving Licence
Good IT and communication skills
Able to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable
Experience or qualifications in any of the following would be advantageous:
Water Regulations
Legionella / L8
Unvented Hot Water Systems
CSCS or ECS Card
IPAF
PASMA
Asbestos Awareness
First Aid
Sentinel PTS
Railway maintenance experience
