The Role
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while providing comprehensive administrative support to clinicians and the wider team.
Working Hours
The role operates on a rota basis:
07:45 - 15:45
12:00 - 20:00
1 Saturday per month, 09:00 - 17:00
Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Patient Care
Welcoming patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Managing patient enquiries via phone, email and in person
Ensuring a smooth and efficient patient journey throughout the clinic
Administration & Coordination
Managing clinician diaries and booking appointments
Coordinating patient visits and follow-up appointments
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
Preparing and sending correspondence, reports and letters to a high standard
Updating and maintaining confidential patient information
Liaising closely with clinicians and colleagues to support excellent patient care
Assisting with improving administrative processes and clinic operations
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a medical administration, medical reception or healthcare support role
Experience within private healthcare would be highly advantageous
Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
Good knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
Proficiency using clinical databases and healthcare systems
