Our client is a leading UK construction company specialising in structures, groundworks, and demolition works.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage projects from mobilisation through to handover.
Lead site teams, engineers and subcontractors to achieve programme milestones.
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Oversee project budgets, procurement and cost control.
Coordinate temporary works, demolition sequencing and structural alteration activities.
Develop and monitor project programmes and recovery plans where required.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants and local authorities.
Chair progress meetings and provide regular project reporting.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure quality standards and compliance requirements are maintained throughout delivery.
Skills & Requirements:
Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline - desirable
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering demolition, cut & carve, structural alteration or basement construction projects.
Excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders in live urban environments.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to drive programmes while maintaining the highest safety standards.
SMSTS.
CSCS Black Card.
Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) certification advantageous.
First Aid at Work.
Full UK Driving Licence.
