Provide technical leadership for complex structural engineering activities within a dedicated team.
Oversee and deliver high-quality engineering, testing, and assurance services aligned with industry standards.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, technicians, and laboratory staff for seamless project delivery.
Develop and interpret test regimes based on structural design principles, including static and dynamic behaviours.
Ensure compliance with BS and EN standards, advancing industry best practice.
Contribute to business growth through client engagement, proposal development, and industry representation.
Support inspection, assessment, and reporting activities in line with UK construction methods and fire performance standards.
Influence strategic development and contribute to the profile of the Structural Technology team.
You will have
To succeed as a Lead Structural Engineer, you will need:
Chartered status in Structural Engineering.
Proven experience leading complex structural projects and technical teams.
Strong knowledge of BS and EN standards and their application in design and testing.
Expertise in static and dynamic structural behaviour and engineering mechanics.
Experience with structural fire design and assessment per industry standards.
Excellent communication skills, capable of producing high-quality proposals, reports, and inspection documents.
Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, FEA modelling, and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of UK construction methods, materials, and contemporary industry practices.
Commercial awareness with experience in contributing to income and workload development.
