Location: Redditch area (B98)
Hours: Rotating shifts - 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm (Monday-Friday, 40 hours)
An established UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing production and site operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production equipment and site services within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role requiring both electrical and mechanical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Respond quickly to breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repairs
Maintain extrusion and injection moulding machinery, along with associated plant equipment
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Support continuous improvement and machinery upgrades
Assist with tooling changes and equipment set up
Maintain site services including cooling systems, compressors, and general facilities
Requirements
Multi-skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
Strong fault-finding ability on production machinery
Experience with PLCs, drives, motors, and control systems
Mechanical skills such as bearings, gearboxes, belts, and general repairs
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
18th Edition (BS 7671) or equivalent essential
Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
