How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Operations Performance Analyst

    South Birmingham / Worcestershire - Hybrid – 2/3 days on site

    Up to £40,000 + benefits

    Our client, a logistics service provider, is looking for an Operations Performance Analyst to join a key customer account, helping to shape how performance is understood, measured and improved. You’ll be at the centre of the operation — working with operational teams, customer stakeholders and internal functions to turn data into insight that genuinely influences decisions.

    This isn’t just about reporting. It’s about asking the right questions, spotting what others might miss, and using data to drive better service and smarter ways of working.

    What you’ll get involved in:

    * Turning operational data into clear, actionable insight that supports performance and decision-making

    * Monitoring KPIs and identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the contract

    * Working closely with operations and stakeholders to understand data needs and improve reporting

    * Strengthening data quality, governance and consistency across the account

    * Supporting the development of more efficient tools, systems and reporting platforms

    * Contributing to continuous improvement, using data to help shape better outcomes for the customer

    What you’ll bring:

    * A natural curiosity for data and how it can be used to tell a story

    * An understanding of distribution and warehouse operations and systems (WMS / TMS) – highly desirable

    * Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret contractual data and trend analysis, and convert into effective Management Information

    * Strong Excel / advanced MS Office skills, with exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos etc)

    * A structured, detail-focused approach, balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture

    * Confidence working with a range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

    This is a hybrid role, combining time on-site with the flexibility to work from home.
