Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

ASC Connections are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Stores Operative on behalf of our client based in Redditch. This is a varied, hands-on position combining driving responsibilities with warehouse and stores duties.
Driving Duties:
Drive both a larger commercial vehicle and a standard van depending on delivery requirements
Carry out local deliveries and collections within the Redditch area, with most journeys being short distance
Complete occasional medium-distance trips (typically around a 3-hour round trip)
Secure loads safely using ratchet straps
Transport products between sites, suppliers, and customers
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any faults
Forklift & Warehouse Duties:
Load and unload deliveries and collections safely
Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defectsAdditional Duties (when not driving):
Pack finished goods onto pallets to prevent damage in transit
Kit components ready for assembly
Book in goods accurately within the stores system
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Full, clean UK driving licence
Previous van driving experience
Good attention to detail and a flexible, proactive approach
