This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join an established team delivering a range of exciting civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the site team with engineering duties, setting out and ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to the required standards.
As the Site Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements
Providing technical support and guidance to the site team
Checking levels, dimensions and quality of completed works
Producing and maintaining accurate site records, reports and quality documentation
Liaising with subcontractors, site management and the wider project team to resolve technical issues
Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, infrastructure or rail
Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
Competent setting-out and surveying skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
