£16.20 - £17.20 based on Experience.
Working Hours:
Set days: Monday-Friday
or
Set Nights: Monday-Thursday
Key Responsibilities
•CNC Programming — Create, edit, and optimise programs directly at the machine using Fanuc controls.
•Machine Setup — Set tooling, workholding, and offsets for production runs.
•Precision Turning — Manufacture components to exact specifications and quality standards.
•Quality Inspection — Use measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) to verify accuracy.
•Problem Solving — Identify machining issues, adjust programs, and improve efficiency.
•Reading Engineering Drawings — Interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
What We’re Looking For
•Strong experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment
Confident programming with Fanuc controls (essential)
•Ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs
•Good understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining best practices
•Commitment to producing high‑quality work
