Aspire People are seeking a resilient and confident **SEND Teaching Assistant** to support pupils with **SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs)** within a primary school setting.
This role is suited to someone who has experience managing behaviour and supporting pupils who may struggle with emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs within the classroom
* Assisting with behaviour management strategies and routines
* Helping pupils regulate emotions and re-engage with learning
* Supporting small groups and classroom activities
* Working closely with teachers and SENCO to implement support plans
* Promoting a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience working with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs
* Background in youth work, support work, or education desirable
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils
