Aspire People are recruiting a dedicated and compassionate **SEND Teaching Assistant** to support pupils within a primary school setting. This role involves working across the classroom, supporting a range of pupils with additional needs, while also assisting with general learning.
The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships and provide consistent, supportive guidance to help pupils access the curriculum.
**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with SEND within the classroom environment
* Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
* Providing general classroom support, with some small-group or occasional 1:1 work
* Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and mild learning difficulties
* Encouraging engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
* Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience working with children with SEND or within a school setting
* Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about supporting inclusive education
* Relevant background such as childcare, education, or support work
