We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking a Professional Support Lawyer to advise their Private Equity team within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an elite Private Equity practice, maintaining and updating the firm’s precedents to ensure a high quality of service to clients. The candidate’s duties will include dealing with complex legal queries from fee earners, identifying potential opportunities for efficiencies, and monitoring legal, regulatory and market developments relevant to the firm’s Private Equity department and clients.
The candidate will play a key role in leading end-to-end delivery of knowledge initiatives, ensuring projects are executed and embedded effectively across the team. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives through formulating advice and leading and contributing to tenders and presentations for the firm’s client base.
Essential Criteria:
- 5+ PQE;
- Strong background in Private Equity, corporate services, legal research, knowledge management, and precedent development;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Willingness to become involved in business development;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
