We are looking for a Pricing Manager (m/f/x) in the Haarlem area for an international company operating in the online entertainment industry. This organization develops high-traffic web applications used daily by millions of users worldwide. It's a dynamic scale-up environment where your insights have a direct and measurable impact.
What will you be doing?
As a Pricing Manager in the Haarlem area, you will play a key role at the intersection of data, finance, and commerce. You translate numbers into clear, actionable insights and work closely with Partner Managers, the Head of Business Performance, and the Data team. Your recommendations often go live within the same week-speed and ownership are part of the culture. Your responsibilities include:
Focus area: Pricing rounds
What you handle
- Each week, you're responsible for running pricing rounds for our online marketing campaigns. You make sure prices are set just right to achieve the best results.
Commercial steering information
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports (revenue, margin, customer value).
Pricing & promotion evaluation
- Analyze pricing effects and promotions, identify profit opportunities, and advise Partner Managers on the optimal approach per country and channel.
Budget & forecast
- Use and interpret revenue and margin forecasts built by the Data team and the Head of Business Performance; identify deviations and propose improvements or adjustments.
Operational improvements
- You ensure everything runs more efficiently so the team can work faster and better.
Dashboards in Looker
- Develop and maintain Looker dashboards so teams have real-time insight into KPIs, forecasts, and action points.
What do you bring?
- At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, pricing, (commercial) controlling, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills: proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Commercial mindset: you think in terms of revenue, margin, and growth opportunities and confidently pitch proposals.
- Strong communication skills (English); you translate complex analyses into clear action points.
- Proactive and hands-on: you spot opportunities, take ownership, and collaborate easily with Partner Managers, the Data team, and Finance.
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of Looker or other BI tools, SQL experience.
- Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or fast-growing scale-ups.
- Dutch language skills.
