We are looking for six self-employed chefs in the Amsterdam region.
- * Self-employed chef
- * Employment: Full-time position / 38 hours per week
- * Salary indication: €2505- €3200 gross per month excluding holiday pay and tips. Salary can be negotiated.
- * Performing preparatory work, such as washing, cutting, (pre)cooking, mixing, stirring, etc.;
- * Assessing the quality of products/ingredients to be used (freshness, shelf life, etc.), preparing resources;
- * Carrying out the preparations, monitoring/checking the quality, doneness, taste, colour, fluidity, etc. and making adjustments/supplementing dosages;
- * Prepare orders for transfer by cooking, portioning and garnishing à la minute;
- * Supervise the work of the assistant(s), give directions and instructions;
- * Monitor compliance with regulations in the areas of safety, health and safety, HACCP and work and presentation methods (corporate identity)
- *Willing to learn Indian cooking techniques and styles
- *Ready to learn how to cook in the Indian tandoor
- *Ready to learn how to make Indian curries
