What are you going to do?
You don't stand still in a bustling kitchen; instead, you let your creative mind run wild. You help devise new dishes and menus, not only perfecting existing recipes but also adding your own unique ideas. You ensure that instructions are carefully documented so that the team can embrace them. You assess recipes, train students and ensure top quality. Fostering a strong bond with your colleagues is important to you, so you coach the team, work hands-on in the kitchen and solve problems. Even in the absence of the Chef, you are the key that keeps the kitchen running.

The former Scheepvaarthuis of Amsterdam is now home to one of Amsterdam's most iconic five-star hotels, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel has 205 luxury rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge and a Spa & Wellness center. Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is located just 500 meter from Central Station and is easily accessible from the motorway.

Our hotel is part of Amrâth Hotels. Amrâth Hotels consists of 12 three-, four- and five-star hotels in the Netherlands. Our hotels are located in unique and central locations from Maastricht to Alkmaar. Characteristic is the comfort, the personal service and the unique character.
Your Qualities:
You have a completed chef’s education.
You have at least 1-2 years of experience in the kitchen.
You can work efficiently and hygienically according to HACCP guidelines.
You have a passion for cooking and an eye for detail.
You live in the Amsterdam area.
You have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!
What do we offer you?
An exciting position of 38 hours in the heart of Amsterdam
A salary in accordance with the Horeca-cao 2900,50 EUR to 3017,68 EUR, based on a full-time employment contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience.
The contract length 7 months or 1 year with the possibility of extension. We want you to join us
