how you will contributeAs Service Implementation Manager you will play a crucial role to oversee the successful implementation of a service to our Markets after every deployment and release of the global IT programs. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that implementation meets the specified requirements and objectives. In this role you are part of the Global IT Services team, service integration and management.
what you will be doingPrimary Point of Contact for onboarded markets: Serve as the main liaison between central program teams, local deployment managers and teams and GIS.
Global Liaison: Guide the Markets with runbooks and enforce standard operating procedures, sharing insights, feedback, and concerns between global programs and the market/country.
Progress Oversight: Monitor implementation and change management progress, closely tracking milestones, and proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or issues towards the run phase of services.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders at both Markets and central team levels to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Onsite Presence: Frequently visit the Market during program deployment, facilitating coordination between local and global workstreams, especially at critical milestones.
Understanding of Implementation Scope: Comprehend the full scope of implementation, including change management and implementation across strategy, organization, process, and technology.
Support and Escalation: Provide assistance and guidance to resolve issues or mitigate risks, acting as the go-to person when communication or escalation processes require intervention.
Governance Role: Participate in both local and global governance as part of the run group, contributing to decision-making processes within the Market.
The Service Implementation Manager is deeply involved in collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders. This includes engaging with key figures such as the leads of various global programs, local teams in our Markets and stakeholders within GIS such as the Head of Business Applications and the Service Transition Manager. You will work within the Service Management & Integration team of Global IT Services and report to the head of this team.

your skillsCommunication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels, including local deployment managers, central program teams, and Market level stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of objectives.
Relationship Building: Proficiency in establishing and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders at both Market and central team levels, fostering collaboration and support for successful deployment and production stabilities.
Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee implementation progress, monitor milestones, and proactively identify and address bottlenecks or issues using status updates and collaboration with relevant teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Capacity to serve as an intermediary between local and global workstreams, understanding the full scope of implementation including change management, strategy, organization, process, and technology, and facilitating coordination between various teams.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments, including frequent onsite presence during program deployment, ensuring effective support and guidance at important milestones.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues or mitigating risks, acting as the go-to person when communication or escalation processes fall short, and providing additional assistance or guidance as needed.
Governance Involvement: Understanding of local and global governance structures, and ability to actively participate in the deployment group, contributing to decision-making processes and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in project management, implementation, or change management roles within the IT sector.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile).
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
Ability to understand and navigate complex organizational structures and workstreams.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile).
Willingness to travel frequently and work onsite during program deployment periods.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) is desirable.
