WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGAs Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial administration and reporting of Mammoet’s Project Europe entities. Drawing on your financial background and experience, you will collaborate closely with departments across the organization. You’ll analyze financial data, ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, and implement control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems. With your broad, in-depth knowledge, you’ll continually seek opportunities to enhance financial standards and processes.
Financial Accounting & Reporting- Lead month-end closing activities and reporting.
- Work closely with the Shared Services Center to ensure timely, accurate daily accounting.
- Analyze financial results in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
- Advise the organization on financial administration matters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Prepare annual financial statements and support internal and statutory audits.
- Participate in ERP transitions and support finance‑department improvement initiatives.
- Manage the planning and forecasting cycle for assigned entities.
- Monitor cost‑center performance against budget and discuss variances with budget owners.
- Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and contribute to improvement projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Control.
- Strong attention to detail and a naturally curious mindset.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Solid Microsoft Office skills.
- SAP experience is a must‑have.
