The opportunityOur Product Team – currently with 6 team members – is set for further expansion given its strategic position at the heart of Gain. As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in creating the tools that help leading investors and advisors discover opportunities faster, build sharper deal theses, and ultimately win more often. You will report to our Director of Product, Ward Seeger, and will work closely with our team of designers, developers and content specialists.
You will lead multiple strategic projects, conceptualizing new features and coordinating their end‑to‑end delivery across teams. Your focus will be on delivering innovative features whilst keeping our velocity high. Every release should maintain our high bar for quality and sharpen our edge at the forefront of the industry.
We use advanced AI to power many unique features; you will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with our team of experts. You’ll play a key role in shaping and implementing new innovations at the cutting edge of AI.
What you’ll do:Drive feature development: You will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of new features - defining scope, drafting clear specifications, and aligning teams on requirements. Working with designers, you’ll translate ideas into mockups and prototypes, then partner with developers to bring them to life, serving as the go‑to contact for questions on functionality.
Become a domain expert: Based on conversations with customers and our internal experts, you will build your domain knowledge of the private markets and validate ideas about the future direction of our product.
Safeguard world‑class design: Our UI/UX is a cut above the rest and serves as one of the key distinguishing features of our platform. You will promote great design and actively challenge the team to deliver intuitive and well thought out features.
Serve as a product ambassador: You will champion the features you help deliver both internally and externally. Where needed, you will support training sessions for our Go‑to‑Market teams or will join sales calls to help our customers understand the value features unlock.
Maintain and prioritize our backlog: We have a long list of great ideas (coming from both our customers and internal teams) that we’d love to build. We can’t tackle them all at once though, which is why a key part of this position will be to keep track of valuable ideas and to prioritize them so we work on the most pressing things first.
5-8 years’ experience in either (or ideally both!):
- Consulting, private equity or M&A
- Conceptualising and delivering software products – ideally B2B and fintech
Project management experience: You are able to run several projects in parallel, working with multiple stakeholders per project.
Team player: You are comfortable working with designers, developers and content specialists, and are adept at bringing everyone on board.
Empathetic: You are sensitive to the needs of our customers and internal teams and understand how you or Gain can best support them to achieve their aims.
Detail oriented: The devil is in the details; you thoroughly review designs and test new features to ensure that everything is top notch. You take full ownership over features and ensure our high quality standards are met.
Velocity mindset: We favor lean operations, speedy product development and minimal bureaucracy. Our motto is to move as quickly as possible, but not at the expense of quality. This mindset should resonate with you for your success within our organization.

You adjust your messaging based on your audiences’ technical knowledge and information needs. You ask thoughtful questions to refine your understanding of the market and our value proposition.
