Our client is a large, safety-focused industrial organisation in the Netherlands, operating a high-demand production environment where asset reliability and downtime reduction are critical. The site works with structured maintenance processes and cross-functional collaboration between operations, maintenance, and technical stakeholders.

For our client in Dordrecht, we are looking for a Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Specialist who will bring structure, clarity, and execution readiness to the maintenance organisation. This on-site role is focused on planning and preparing maintenance work so technicians can execute efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to operations.

• Build and maintain maintenance plans for preventive and corrective work
• Translate requests into well-prepared work packages (scope, sequence, materials, tools, resources, timing)
• Coordinate with maintenance, production/operations, and other stakeholders to align priorities and schedule activities
• Ensure work orders are ready for execution and follow agreed planning standards
• Support continuous improvement of planning quality, maintenance routines, and reliability performance
• Track progress, update plans when priorities change, and support clear communication on maintenance readiness

• Proven experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or production environment
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage changing priorities
• Structured way of working with strong attention to detail (work preparation, materials, timing, documentation)
• Dutch is required (spoken and written)
• Currently living in the Netherlands and able to work on-site in Dordrecht
