What are you going to do as R&D Software Engineer?
In this position, you get the chance to work with complex and highly accurate systems. Think of medical systems, robotics, or high-tech machinery. You will work in an ambitious, multidisciplinary team and contribute to getting these systems to the required performance by understanding the controls of such systems and looking for the best solutions within those boundaries. This requires conceptual skills and a “can-do” mentality. The focus of the role is on software development for complex (motion) platforms. You play an active role in shaping the technical solution and stakeholder management.
Are you someone with…
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience;
- A Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical field;
- Currently works and lives in the Netherlands;
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and UML;
- Experience with modern C++, Java, C#, and/or Python;
- Has a quality mindset and worked in a professional development environment;
- Broad system and integration knowledge;
- Is a strong communicator, takes initiative, and is able to coach juniors and mediors;
- Excellent communication skills in English.
