The Procurement Analyst, Construction EMEA will be responsible for working with the Sr. Manager of Construction Procurement, EMEA in supporting roll out projects (i.e. Refreshes, modifications and others).This includes managing the project schedule, inventory management, managing purchase order creation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials through communicating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, freight carriers, Project Managers, and General Contractors.
Responsibilities- Procurement of materials, equipment, and fixtures to be used across Foot Locker Divisions
- Coordination and effective communication with other business partners regarding production delivery issues and requirements
- Build relationships with suppliers to mitigate risks and resolve challenges
- Gather and analyze vendor quotes making sure all elements reflected in the order book are purchased to support budget review for Project Managers
- Create requisition and purchase order
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites
- Execute procurement activity for all transactions in accordance with policies
- Understand the functional business, helping to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction/avoidance or revenue generation
- Review monthly inventory reports to ensure depletion during project timeline
- Assist with or manage administrative needs and / or special projects for the team on an as needed basis
- Become proficient in systems (PowerPoint, SAP Ariba, and others)
- Compile ad hoc financial reports as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Requires bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Statistics, Supply Chain, or Related Field and two years of related work experience
- Experience in finance would be highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as cross functionally in a collaborative environment
