Role Description
As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing packaging operations through technical leadership in new product introductions, material qualifications, and continuous process improvements. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure reliable and compliant packaging performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the introduction or transfer of new products into the packaging line, including testing, characterization, and analysis (RTE/CRT).
- Evaluate and recommend new packaging materials in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Monitor ongoing packaging processes, analyze performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Investigate and resolve complex challenges related to packaging equipment, processes, or materials.
- Develop and execute technical protocols and assessments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive packaging innovation by proposing and presenting new ideas to the Product Development team.
Requirement
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with packaging materials in a regulated industry-pharmaceutical experience highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset, with a track record of solving complex technical problems.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in team leadership or a clear ambition to grow into a leadership role.
