The job
As a Senior Trader, you will trade Co-Products on the agri-commodity market, dealing with both suppliers and customers in the international feed industry. You'll be responsible for advising our international customers on market conditions. You'll analyse supply and demand, pricing and logistics. To help you predict the market, you'll work with our market analysis team, who will provide you with information from their fundamental and quantitative research. With all the information available to you, you will decide which trading strategies to follow. On a day-to-day basis, you will build relationships with our suppliers and customers, visiting them regularly. You'll also represent Cefetra at feed industry events to network. You are hungry for new business opportunities and willing to pick up the phone to develop new business. You have in-depth knowledge and a network in the agri-commodities trade, giving you the experience to conquer the feed market!

Who you are
Most important is that you have a play-to-win mentality. To be successful, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open minded and curious. You can work both independently and with people from all layers within the entire Cefetra Group. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

• You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position within one of the following sectors: grains, seeds, pulses, co-products etc.
• Your educational background is equivalent to a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business;
• You are fluent in both English as well as Dutch, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of French and German languages would be an advantage;
• You are a sociable andsupportive colleague and have astrong personality;
• You have an thorough understanding of the trading fundamentals and terminology of commodities;
• You are able to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, willing to innovate, and focus on the customer.
