Working on one of our most ambitious OutSystems projects. At the beginning of 2024, we started a multi-year, large-scale new construction project in OutSystems to simplify our IT landscape and thus provide our customers with the best pension products with great flexibility. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will work on the future of our pension systems. With your help, we will be Future Ready.
What you are going to do
Within our DevOps team, we build a Business Process Management (BPM) application on top of our pension administration in SAP using the agile/scrum method. With this new application, we aim not only to simplify our IT landscape but also to optimize our processes and customer experience. We work with various expertise and backgrounds to achieve standardization, simplification, and optimization of our core processes. Think of processes around important life events such as retirement, changing jobs, getting married, or cohabiting, but also commercial processes such as quoting and implementing pension contracts.
As a senior, you play a leading role in working with the team to shape this new application. You work closely with other developers, analysts, testers within the team, but you also deal a lot with other teams. The BPM will require many integrations, not only with the pension administration in SAP but also with our customer administration, digital channels, CRM, and Output manufacturing street. In addition to your development tasks, you are responsible for the quality and future-proofing of the systems. You are also closely involved in preparing the user stories, technically thinking through the best way to implement them, and helping the analysts in the team with your technical insight. You are a sparring partner for the PO and, together with the team, you take responsibility for realizing the sprint goals. Furthermore, you monitor the application architecture and code quality.
Due to the size of the project, multiple DevOps teams are involved. This offers a great opportunity for knowledge sharing. The working language for this program is English, and the involved teams have a nice diversity of nationalities. You also work closely with the Center of Excellence to further improve and apply best practices for OutSystems development within your team.
