You will be part of one of our three embedded teams in our Product Development Department. The team you will join consists of a Product Owner, Tech Lead, Project Manager and Embedded Developers. Together you will work on abstract protocols and modules with the goal of creating a strong interchangeable software platform for our Building Automation solutions.

How you add valueAs a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of our next‑generation building automation controllers. Your expertise will help establish and execute structured testing processes that have not yet been implemented within the team. In this role, you will spend 50% of your time planning and prioritizing testing activities, including creating test plans and strategies, and the remaining 50% executing tests. You will design and perform system testing, end‑to‑end testing, and risk‑based testing to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards. You will also work together with the QA Lead to develop and execute testing strategies, design test cases, implement solutions, analyze results, and enhance processes to ensure product quality, as part of a separate system integration team.
Who you areWe are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with a proactive mindset and a broad skill set. You thrive in dynamic, product‑oriented team and enjoy working in Agile/Scrum environments. In addition, we’re looking for the following:
- Proven experience in creating test plans, strategies, and prioritizing testing activities;
- Strong understanding of system testing, end‑to‑end testing, and risk‑based testing methodologies;
- Familiarity with Robot Framework for automated testing, or proficiency in Python programming;
- Ability to challenge developers and product owners to ensure quality and usability;
- Proven experience in testing embedded software and hardware systems is a big plus;
- Knowledge of network protocols and serial communication is a plus;
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a nice‑to‑have.

- A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 4.500,- and € 6.000,- based on 40 hours a week;
