The soon fully refurbished Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has the position of a Groups, Meetings & Events Manager available, in one of Europe's most dynamic cities.
As a Groups, Meetings & Events Manager you will be looking after our Groups, Meetings and Events team at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. You and your team will be responsible for handling and managing enquiries for Corporate Groups (10 bedrooms or more), Local Catering (Meetings or Events without or up to 10 bedrooms) and Corporate Meetings (Meetings or Events with 10 or more bedrooms) from the enquiry stage to the execution.
This position also ensures associate satisfaction and the development of the team members. You will train, motivate and coach your team and you will serve as a role model. You will provide guidance and feedback to help individuals to develop and strengthen skills and abilities needed to accomplish their work objectives.

Minimum Requirements:- Have a bachelor degree in Hotel Management, Event Management or related major.
- Have experience in event management or similar role.
- Are fluent in English, any other language is a plus.

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
