We are entering a new phase of growth and are excited to welcome a Sales Operations Intern to learn, develop and grow with us. This is an on-the-job learning opportunity to join our global Commercial team that works on Direct Air Capture projects. You will gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving carbon capture and utilization sector. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about climate tech, renewable energy, and sustainable policy.
Role detailsThis internship is a full-time position of 5-6 months, 40 hours per week. The start date is ASAP. This position does not meet the criteria for employer sponsorship; we are unable to support work permit or residency applications. Candidates must already be based in the Netherlands, ideally near Amsterdam. Transportation allowance is offered; accommodation is not provided.
Key learning opportunitiesThroughout the internship, you will be mentored by experienced team members and encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and reflect on your learning.
- Pipeline Management & Reporting: Learn to track sales opportunities, maintain accurate records, and generate clear reports with guidance from your mentor.
- CRM Structuring: Assist in organizing and improving our CRM system, gaining experience in data management and process improvement.
- Sales Policies & Governance: Understand internal commercial processes and help document and maintain sales policies.
- Contract Template Management: Learn how contracts are structured and maintained in a commercial environment.
- Quoting Process Support: Support quote preparation and documentation, observing how structured processes enhance efficiency.
- Commercial Documentation Management: Gain experience in organizing and maintaining key commercial records in a practical, structured way.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program, preferably in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field
- Interest in sales operations, building out processes and scalable business systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data and digital tools such as CRM systems and spreadsheets
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on responsibilities even during busy periods
- You are already based in the Netherlands, within commuting distance to Amsterdam
