Our client, Ofichem Group, has grown exponentially in turnover and results in recent years. Therefore, we are looking for a: COO/Director of Business Support Services strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, and connecting, Ter Apel.
With the (international) growth, the complexity of the operation is increasing. To manage this complexity and find synergies within the various business units, there is a need to expand the management team in the form of a COO/Director of Business Support Services. Together with the CFO and the CEO/DGA, you form the management team reporting to the CEO. In this challenging management position, you will make a significant contribution to the long-term strategy of the Ofichem Group; especially to the Buy & Build strategy and the implementation of the initiatives arising from it. In addition to realizing a future-proof Ofichem and achieving growth ambitions, you will help elevate Ofichem to a higher level and become the authority in the Netherlands.
Furthermore, you are responsible at the group level for further developing the organization, the organizational culture, and for the internal positioning and professionalization of the supporting departments HR, Integration M&A, Procurement, SHE, and QA (spread across two locations).

You easily switch between various levels and improve decision-making, collaboration, and synergy at the group level.

You have an open communication style, bring focus, and have a no-nonsense hands-on mentality.
- Minimum of a completed relevant HBO education and university-level thinking;
- Extensive and demonstrable experience in professionalizing the internal organization of a rapidly growing company and integrating acquisitions;
- Worked in a similar position preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, food sector, chemistry, or a similar industry involving R&D departments, ISO standards, and laboratories;
- Extensive leadership skills and a coaching leadership style;
- A connector, results-oriented, and persistent. Above all, you are down-to-earth, pragmatic, and hands-on;
- Focus on long-term customer relationships and quality;
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, German is a plus.
