Field Service Eng III

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll Install or de-install equipment at customer sites, validate its operation, carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with technical specifications, carry out any necessary technical updates, you'll also ensure Bio-Rad's internal metrology park. We are looking for someone to cover the Central, Eastern & Northern parts of the Netherlands with ocassional work in Belgium too. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Install hardware and software according to manufacturer or company instructions
• Identify and inspect the system configuration delivered by the company
• Apply instrumentation control and validation protocols
• Draft the acceptance document or intervention report and appendices and have it validated by the customer
• Promoting the sale of maintenance contracts
• Complete training in the use of systems, and in particular in the use of diagnostic aids
• Carry out metrology on equipment under external customer specifications and contracts

What You Bring:

• 2-3 years' experience in a field service engineer position
• Experience in clinical diagnostics or life sciences would be beneficial, but not essential
• Able to work independently and pro-actively provide feedback.
• Sound technical knowledge in electronics troubleshooting and excellent customer handling skills
• Bachelors degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering (Laboratory Instrumentation and/or Diagnostics Instrumentation) preferred
• Maintain balanced approach under stressed situations and good organization and documentation skills

Netherlands - we are looking for someone located in the Central or Eastern part of the Netherlands.
